Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, launched the Era silhouette in 1976 after Dogtown skate legends Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta asked Vans for increased durability and functionality in their shoes to meet the growing technical demands of skateboarding. The Era has become one of Vans’ most iconic footwear styles, and today Vans and Tony Alva team up once again with creative individuals across Asia to highlight their own personal style and attitude surrounding the Iconic Era.

The Era, originally known as the Style #95, was created by skaters for skaters and featured a multi-panel construction for increased durability and Vans’ signature sticky waffle sole for ultimate grip and board feel. From the ‘70s to today, the Era has been a shoe for skateboarders, musicians, artists and creative individuals around the world, complimenting everyone’s personal style in their own way.
